Audi confirms the Q4 for 2019. The new SUV, which will not be more than the production version of the TT Offorad (in the picture), to compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé, Range Rover Evoque and the BMW X4.
The Q4 as the Q4 will be made based on the MQB platform, which will have a e-tron plug-in hybrid petrol version, with autonomy to last up to 50 km in electric mode.
The range is complete with the new petrol 1.5 motor with four cylinders, the 2.0 TDi, with power between 150 and 190cv, and the petrol 2.5 with five cylinders with around 400cv, for the RS Q4.
This new SUV will be accompanied of two new other SUVs, namely the electric Q6 and the top of the range Q8, with its launch predicted to be before the Q4.
Besides the offensive SUV, Audi promises to launch three new electric models by 2020. “In the last three years, Audi specialised more than 6 million employees to work with high voltage technology”, the company said.
