New president of the United States of America will debut new car
The car of the United States of America president is known as “The Beast”. With the recent victory, Donald Trump will become the next tenant at the White House and the new president will also have a new “Beast” at his service.
The new presidential car will not be that different from the one used by Barack Obama since 2009. On the other hand, the US presidency will not only have one “Beast” but an entire fleet of around a dozen of cars.
The Cadillac will continue to be the official car of the US president and the new “beast” that will officially be seen around mid-January next year, during Trump’s takeover, will also maintain the general line of Obama’s car, with little to be changed, from the mechanical to aesthetics characteristics (despite the new grid).
Donald Trump’s “Beast” will keep the GM’s Kodiak platform having the Cadillac Escalade as its reference, as it did with Obama’s car, and maintaining the dimensions and passengers area for seven people in a disposition of 2+3+2, as in a conference room for five of them.
The most recessed sits will be slightly behind the last darkened side window, preceding the entry doors into the passenger compartment. Due to security reasons the only windows that open are the ones at front and only for a couple centimeters.
“The Beast” works with a Duramax engine with automatic transmission. Because it is less volatile than gasoline and due to the binary, diesel has become the presidential car’s fuel since 2009. An armored bomb proof vehicle of such dimensions needs power and so it won’t pass the 120 KM per hour as it’s maximum speed.
The rear passenger compartment has a video-conference screen placed at the back of the drivers’s seats and its communication technology has high security standards. But the presidential car won’t be excessively equipped with work material since it won’t be used for more than half an hour distances.
“The Beast” has giant wheels with protection against flat tires, a self-sealing fuel tank, automated system against fire in all compartments including the motor, has enough oxygen for the passengers in case of a chemical attack, besides the usual sirens, lights and integrated cameras.
