There are only two cars like these
The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita Floyd Mayweather put up for sale was purchased. The car cost the American boxer 3.95 million pounds. It was sold for about half the amount.
This rarity was auctioned at the Mecum Auctions in Monterrey, USA, for about 1.94 million pounds, reports Motor1.com.
This is one of only two CCXR Trevita’s that have been made. Its rarity, which made Koenigsegg give up on producing yet another copy, is the resin impregnated with diamond powder coating the carbon fiber on the outside.
At the heart of this hyper sports car – which can be turned into a roadster guarding the roof panels in the front of the car – beats the Swedish brand’s usual heart with a 4.8-liter V8 engine delivering 1018 hp horsepower.
The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita exceeds 400 km/h after accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.7 seconds. The (almost) unique car that Mayweather bought in 2015 gets to the new owner with just over 3100 kilometers (1900 miles).
