The moment is one for celebration for Sant’Agata Bolognese. And all because the Lamborghini reached a historic mark: 8,000 Huracán already left the assembly line of the Italian brand.
In constant production for three years, Lamborghini Huracán has just reached a historic milestone, with the departure of the assembly line next to the company’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, of unit 8,000 of this impressive super sports car: nothing more, nothing less than a Huracán Spyder in gray Grigio Lynx, bound for the UK.
Model of entry in the offer of the Italian manufacturer, Huracán is currently one of the most important products for the bull brand being proposed in two types of bodywork – Coupé and Spyder – as well as in different variants. These range from the all-wheel-drive, hard-top version, LP 610-4, to 580-2, rear-only drive, and the flagship version of the exclusive Huracán Performante. Which, in addition, may soon have a new convertible variant, with the same V10 5.2 liters of 630 hp and 600 Nm of torque, and the same aerodynamic technology, called Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva, coupé.
Also in favor of Huracán, the excellent commercial performance that puts it less than half the distance already achieved by the Gallardo. This proposal, with its 14,022 units traded, continues to be the most successful sport in Lamborghini history.
Still, if the expectations already announced by the manufacturer come to fruition, they will all be eventually supplanted in commercial terms by the future and first SUV in the history of the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand, the Urus. Model with which the bull brand hopes to double its annual production, although, it seems, reach the market with only a V8 biturbo gasoline of 650 hp. It is certain that for later is also planned a hybrid plug-in version, but still …
