It will be at the service of the Bologna traffic division
The Bologna transit police have a new recruit: a 610cv Lamborghini Huracan. The bólide will be used in emergency situations as a first aid vehicle and to transport organs and blood for transplants. However, “Polizia” has admitted that it will also be used in more conventional operations.
The machine is decorated with the official colors of the Italian police, highlighting the tricolor range that represents the Italian flag, and uses a 5.2-liter V10 engine that delivers 610 hp, numbers that allow it to reach 325 km/h and accelerate from 0 At 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
In place of the passenger is a computer system composed of a tablet and a computer, as well as a system for capturing audio and video, which is used to document the police activity.
There is no shortage of firearm support, portable fire extinguisher, VHF radio and hooks for the stop signs used by police forces.
In the luggage compartment, positioned at the front (the engine is behind), there is a refrigerated compartment to transport organs and blood for transplants, as well as a defibrillator.
This is the second Huracan at the service of the Italian police. In 2015, Lamborghini had already offered a Huracan to the Rome police. Before, in 2008, they delivered a Gallardo LP 560-4.
