Lamborghini inaugurates exhibition dedicated to Ayrton Senna, in which are exposed all the single seater that the Brazilian drove throughout his career. It’s called “Ayrton Senna – The Legend, the single seater” and is open until October 9th on the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
The exhibition intends to mark the tests performed by Ayrton Senna, in September 1993, at the time on the wheel of a McLaren equipped with a V12 Lamborghini motor, on the Estoril racetrack.
The inauguration ceremony counted with the presence of the Lamborghini CEO, Stefano Domenicali, as well as Ercole Colombo and Giorgio Terruzzi, curators of the photography archive, and Mauro Forghieri and Daniele Audetto, that were present on the tests in Portugal, 24 years ago.
All the Formula 1 driven by Ayrton Senna are exposed, including a MP4/8 identical to the one Senna tested in Estoril, flanked by his motor, as well as the Toleman from the first Senna race on the Formula 1; The Lotus JPS from his first victory, also in Estoril, the McLaren that the Brasilian drove to big successes and his ultimate Williams.
In exhibition will also be his first kart, the two Formula Ford from his British and European victories and the Ralt F3 in which he dominated this competition.
The exhibition will be open daily from April 12th to October 9th, including Sundays, from 9:30 to 19 o’clock, and is exposed next to the Lamborghini Museum permanent collection.
