It has only been presented and already owned the record in Nurburgring
NextEV presented the NIO, electric car brand that starts of with the model EP9 and is already the “fastest car in the world”.
The super car is introduced to the public with the records for electric cars in Nurburgring and Paul Ricard circuit. The NIO EP9 did over 20 kilometers of Nordschliefe in 7:05.12 minutes and the French circuit in 1:52.78 minutes.
EP9 has four engines and four gear box, with a potency of 1 Megawatt, equivalent to 1.340 CV speeding from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.1 seconds and reaching the speed limit of 313 km/h. It has an aerodynamic pressure twice as big as a Formula 1.
Carbon was the privileged material used, from the cockpit to the chassis, in a car that has an autonomy of 427 KM. The NIO EP9 presents itself as a “Top of the range that has the best of what is possible in electric vehicles”, says William Li, founder and president of NextEV.
