As you read, there is a new speed world record with the car leaning in only two wheels. The Finnish Vesa Kivimaki drove his BMW 330d at 186.269 KM per hour.
Such performance was certified by Guinness Book of Records. It happened in August on a airport runway in Sinajoki, Finland, but only now the video was launched. Kivimaki is a double that claims to drive since he was six years old «To beat this record has been my dream for 15 years».
With Nokian tires specially designed to achieve this kind of speed on a 100 meter course, the Finnish beat a record of 19 years registered in 1997 by Gorian Eliason when he reached 181.250 KM per hour with a Volvo 850 turbo.
At age 41, Kivimaki fulfilled his dream.
