Road Safety Campaign
The Road Safety in Paris created a campaign to sensitise pedestrians not to cross the road when the traffic light is red. Even if there aren’t any cars crossing. That is exactly the goal: not to cross whenever the red pedestrian light is on.
If not, well, if not, the Parisians more unwary are subject to the shock treatment from the Impact Simulator, the name of this video campaign turns the victims into protagonists and requests: «Do not run the risk to see death face to face»
The Impact Simulator is an interactive digital device that is activated when a pedestrian crosses the road with a red light on. The trespasser is surprised with the sound of an abrupt braking and their panic reaction is captured by a camera in a panel, that shows straight away in a big point the scared expression requesting to be careful.
