American Things: The owner of a Tesla Model X P100 D was challenged by the owner of a Lamborghini Aventador SV for a ‘drag racing’ race in order to see who would be the fastest to reach a mile.
So far nothing extraordinary, except the fact that the brutal and lossless acceleration of the Tesla had basically smashed the Lamborghini at the time of departure, with the driver of the Italian machine not being able to recover the difference until the end of the course.
Get to know the story or see only the part that really matters from the 2m10s of the video we bring you. And know that while this version of the Tesla Model X features 762 hp or 558 kW supplied by two four-wheel electric motors, and accelerating to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, the Aventador features a 6.5-liter V12 that supposedly allows you to keep the same record in 2.8 seconds. Was this result the drivers fault?
