The designation ” Maybach 6 ” is an upfront allusion to it’s size – about 6 meters long (5,7 meters to be precise). The wheels are no less ostentatious with 24 inches.
This study defines itself as “the ultimate in luxury” and is distinguished by an extremely long bonnet, roof with low lines and an indented interior, reminiscent of the cabriolets from the past.
Another particularity are the doors opening upwards like “gull wing” style, while the broad and rounded shape of the rear resembles a luxury yacht with the lights integrated into the edges underlining the entire width of the vehicle.
The interior of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 combines luxury with technology. The dashboard extends in curve between the inner door panels up to the luxury seats, creating a “hall with 360°”.
The vanguard character is also achieved through the vast digital and technological components. So, the traditional analogs with circular contours is combined with the dashboard and the front glass “scanned” to project the most various information needed for the driver.
Another element that enhances the beauty of the interior is the transparent area in the center tunnel, which allows you to observe the electricity flow from this prototype. The floor area uses Olmo wood applications, creating an exquisite yacht type appearance.
Following the trends, the mechanics are electric. In all four electric motors capable of delivering 750cv together, allowing an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in less than four seconds, top speed electronically limited to 250 km / h and range of more than 500 kilometers.
The quick charge function also represents a futuristic vision: as a result of DC charging function (direct current) based on standard CCS, the system allows an impressive load capacity of up to 350 kW. In just five minutes, you can load enough power in the system to extend the range of about 100 kilometers.
The battery pack can be charged via a cable connection to a public charging station or a conventional home outlet or, for even broader functionality via a wireless connection for electromagnetic field.
