In preparation for the arrival of its SUV, the Urus, Lamborghini promises not to leave the tiniest detail to chance. They even built a room to check the sound of the engines … Is it music to the ears?
Nothing seems to be missing from the Lamborghini Urus – the first SUV in the history of the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand, in which the heads of the Italian supercar manufacturer put high expectations – to be a success. Beginning with the reinforcement of the workforce at the factory of about 500 workers, the construction not only of a specific painting unit and even of a new acoustic room, where the sonority of the engines will become the focus of attention.
The result of an investment with the purpose of creating conditions so that nothing is missing from a model that Lamborghini has already claimed to be able to represent half of its sales, this new room created specifically to clarify the sonority of the manufacturer’s current and future engines (Among which the 4.0-liter V8 that should appear in the Urus), is seen by the brand managers as an important argument. First of all, according to Lamborghini, “the sound of engines is one of the most emotional experiences in any supercar manufacturer.”
With this new infrastructure, the Italian brand adds, “it will be easier to adjust all the particular aspects that make the sound of a supersport, helping to create the typical Lamborghini driving experience, involving all the senses.”
